Unwind and relax in a fun, friendly atmosphere where you can recharge your batteries to blast off for the rest of the conference. We’ll also have fabulous prizes for some of the lucky participants!

Plus, have fun with activities from Space for Teachers!

  • Rocket Shots!
Build a rubber band-powered foam rocket, give it a Yuri’s Night glow-up, then step up to the launch line and take your shot at the target. Quick builds, easy launches, and low-stakes!

  • Spin for Gravity! Project Hail Mary Challenge
Step up and test rotating spacecraft inspired by Project Hail Mary. Spin scale models on a turntable, track live Databot™ sensor data, and see how close your design gets to artificial gravity!

Devour delicious pizza from Fat Sully’s at Atomic Cowboy — included in every ticket!

We will be putting out pizza for everyone at the beginning of the event. We cannot account for individual taste or guarantee allergy compatibility. Please eat responsibly!

Note that the free pizza may not be available if you arrive later in the evening.

Hungry for more or want something different? The whole menu and bar will be open for additional orders!

Payment for individual food and drink orders are the responsibility of the ordering party.

**NEW ADDITION**

In space, smell becomes muted due to fluid shifts and stuffy sinuses… plus the olfactory desensitization from the perpetual ‘locker room’ odor you can’t open a hatch to escape. Astronauts report missing earthly scents the longer they are away from home.

Space Sensory Lab brings you this interactive exhibit at Yuri’s Night to experience and vote on the scents you’ll miss the most in space! You’ll also get a whiff of space here on Earth in an interactive encounter featuring following scents:

  • Living soil (Damp Earth / Geosmin)
  • Ocean Air (WATER / Salt + Algae + Wind)
  • Forest (Pine & Fir)
  • Human Presence (Sun-warmed cotton/laundry + faint human skin musk)
  • Earth Fire (warm fire, faint wood smoke)
  • Lunar Ash

Hit the dance floor to epic beats from local DJs alongside a spectacular laser light show! Thanks to our partners at Guerilla Lasers for bringing big concert energy to the party!
