Ryan Observatory at Muddy Run: Monthly Outreach + Yuri’s Night

The Rittenhouse Astronomical Society will be holding it’s Monthly Public Outreach Night at the Ryan Observatory at Muddy Run Park in Holtwood PA.
There will be all Ages Presentations, including a “Ellie the Bunny Hops to the Moon”, and News of the Artemis II Mission.
Outside there will be a “Planet Report” followed by observing from the Observatory, and volunteer Telescopes.

The Rittenhouse Astronomical Society is devoted to public Astronomy Education and aims to spread knowledge, awareness, and enjoyment of astronomy and astronomical issues. We are a popular science club that keeps its members up-to-date on the latest developments.
No experience is necessary to attend.
The Ryan Observatory at Muddy Run Park is a public outreach facility featuring astronomy and STEAM education. Constructed by Exelon Generation Co. LLC and opened to the public in 2017 by Freeman Dyson, F.R.S. The facility offers free monthly open houses for observing the skies with trained amateur astronomers. Outreach programs are managed by the Rittenhouse Astronomical Society, one of the oldest amateur astronomical organizations in the country with a rich history of providing information to the public through presentations from knowledgeable and practicing scientists.
