DESCRIPTION:Step into a global celebration of space\, unity\, and human possibility as Kennedy Under the Stars joins with Yuri’s Night to host their official East Coast flagship event. This year\, the worldwide organization honors the first human in space and the launch of the first Space Shuttle\, both with anniversaries on April 12. \nFor one unforgettable night\, the visitor complex transforms into an illuminated\, after‑hours experience where space enthusiasts and explorers of all ages gather to experience the attractions after hours\, meet astronauts\, hear from special guests\, and have some fun on the dance floor. \nFavorite Kennedy Under the Stars experiences return\, such as: \nLive DJ entertainment and dance party in NASA Central \nCosmic Glow Mini Golf in the Rocket Garden \nLive “street” entertainment \nAstronaut meet and greet (announced soon) \nAfter-hours access to many visitor complex attractions* \nDon’t forget! Space-themed costumes are encouraged\, but no face coverings or weapons will be permitted (no costume contests). \nNew with the addition of Yuri’s Night are favorite Yuri’s Night characters\, and fireside chats with notable guests in the space industry. Listen to a sit-down\, casual conversation as we touch on topics like launching into space\, the influence space has on all our lives\, and where the future of space exploration is headed. Two panel discussions will take place inside the IMAX theater\, starting at 7:00 and 8:00 PM\, with seating available on a first-come\, first-served basis.

We are a popular science club that keeps its members up-to-date on the latest developments. \nNo experience is necessary to attend. \nThe Ryan Observatory at Muddy Run Park  is a public outreach facility featuring astronomy and STEAM education. Constructed by Exelon Generation Co. LLC and opened to the public in 2017 by Freeman Dyson\, F.R.S. The facility offers free monthly open houses for observing the skies with trained amateur astronomers. Outreach programs are managed by the Rittenhouse Astronomical Society\, one of the oldest amateur astronomical organizations in the country with a rich history of providing information to the public through presentations from knowledgeable and practicing scientists.

DESCRIPTION:The Bauru Didactic Astronomy Observatory (Observatório Didático de Astronomia de Bauru) will host a public educational event to celebrate Yuri’s Night and the history of human space exploration. \nThroughout the evening\, visitors will be able to attend a short talk (15–20 minutes)\, repeated multiple times\, introducing the meaning of Yuri’s Night and the importance of Yuri Gagarin’s historic flight. In addition\, the event will feature guided sky observation with telescopes\, sky recognition activities\, and opportunities to learn about astronomy with our team. \nChildren will also enjoy a special kids’ workshop\, and visitors will be able to explore the Observatory shop and other attractions prepared for the night. \nThis event is open to the public and aims to bring the community closer to astronomy\, science\, and the celebration of humanity’s journey into space.
